Data Management- Administrative Assistant part-time position

Qualifications:

- familiarity with data management systems, especially related to schools, would be an asset
- comfortable and familiar with multiple technology platforms, including both with PC and Mac
- willing and able to learn new technology platforms
- team player
- strong Christian faith and character
- Willing and able to cover front office duties as required from time to time
- Possession of excellent listening and communication skills, willing to work in a consultative, collaborative style
- Demonstrate ongoing willingness to continue to learn
- Ability to set and complete goals with clarity
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal relationship skills
- experience with MyEdBC would be an asset

Job Description:

- Take the lead with MyEdBC by managing student and staff records 
- Perform school updates required by the Ministry ie. 1601, 1701…
- Update TRAX as per Ministry expectations
- Manage the technical aspects and distribution of Report Cards 
- serve as a backup for the front receptionist position
- work with school administration team on an ongoing basis to problem solve technical aspects of students and staff records
- manage student permanent records (cumulative files) 
- enter course selections in MyEdBC and support the technical aspects of student and staff scheduling 
- participate in ongoing training sessions related to myEdBC and other Ministry initiatives
- support teachers with technical aspects of MyEdBC 
- work collaboratively with the office team in ensuring a functional and pleasant office work environment
- other duties as assigned from time to time by school administration (Principal and Vice Principal) 
- This position is an average 20 hours a week, with the option of Extended Health Benefits

Teachers Teaching On Call (TTOC)

We are now accepting applications for TTOCs. We are seeking teachers who can teach in classes from grades KG - 12. Applicants are required to have:

  • a BC or Canadian teaching licence
  • be a practicing Evangelical Christian
  • enjoy working with students 
  • are flexible and able to adjust as the duties or day requires

Special Education Assistant (SEA)

‚ÄčSEAs at CRCS are certified professionals who assist in developing the character, spiritual and educational potential of the student(s). CRCS has a need to have SEAs available for hire for potential incoming students. The position and contact days are 5 days a week.
The SEA duties include and are not limited to these responsibilities:

  • Praying regularly for the student(s) and their family/families
  • Overseeing instructional programs for the student(s) as directed by the teacher
  • Reinforcing or following up on assignments with the student(s)
  • Strong communication skills with and to associated team members
  • Keeping accurate student records
  • Attending meetings as required
  • Other responsibilities as required for the development and management of the student(s)

Bus Driver

We are presently seeking a qualified bus driver for September 2021. This position is 4 hours a day (split shift), with additional hours as needed for field trips.

Job description and requirements:

  • Must be a faithful follower of Jesus Christ
  • Willing to abide in school policies
  • Provide a clear criminal record check and driving record
  • Have a clear class 5 license and class 2 license
  • Demonstrate good organizational and problem-solving skills to create and maintain a bus schedule
  • Good with children
  • Provide clear and timely communication with parents/guardians regarding pickup and drop off
  • Professional and character references to be provided
