Job Description and Requirements:

We are seeking a full-time teaching Vice-Principal for the 2022-23 school year. (Starting date: Aug.15/22.) The requirements we seek include but are not limited to:

  • Evidence of a strong understanding of Christian education
  • Willingness to uphold CRCS's and ACSI's (Assoc. Christian Schools International) Statements of Faith
  • Possession of a valid BC professional teaching certificate
  • Completion of or active progress toward a Master’s Degree in the field of Educational Leadership or Curriculum
  • Demonstration of current leadership skills and practices
  • Strong understanding of and experience with current Assessment practices
  • Excellent listening and communication skills (spoken & written)

Job Description and Requirements:

The Art/Careers Teacher role is a 0.3 FTE position that will cover classes Mon-Fri of the school week.


The successful candidate will have qualifications/skills which include, but are not limited to:

  • Evidence of a strong understanding of Christian Education
  • Willingness to uphold CRCS's and ACSI's (Assoc. Christian Schools International) Statements of Faith
  • Possession of a valid BC Professional Teaching certificate/diploma

SUPPORT STAFF
SPECIAL EDUCATION ASSISTANT(S) [SEA]

SEAs at CRCS are certified para-professionals who work closely with teachers to support the character, spiritual, and educational/academic development of students receiving designated special education funding. SEAs receive their assignments from the Special Education Director and directly report to the classroom teacher.

Presently, CRCS is seeking a candidate (possibly more than one) who is flexible and prepared to work with students from Kindergarten to Gr.12. Exact assignment will be determined once the school year starts. The hours are 8am-3pm, Monday to Friday. Remuneration is on a grid system based on training, qualifications, and experience.


The SEA skills and duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Evidence of a strong understanding of Christian education
  • Willingness to uphold CRCS's and ACSI's (Assoc.Christian Schools International) Statements of Faith
  • Possesses an Educational Assistant certificate or is in the process of obtaining one. (Candidates without an Educational Assistant certificate but who are taking courses in education may also be considered.)

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Adaptable, flexible, with a "can-do" attitude
  • Ability to meet and plan with the classroom teacher(s) on a regular basis

Kindergarten Teaching Assistant (TA) (Temporary, full-time; Sept-Dec.) - OPEN until suitable candidate is hired

Job Description and Requirements:

The Kindergarten class requires a Teaching Assistant to work closely with the Teacher in supporting students who are new to the school environment. This is a full-time temporary position (Sept-Dec.2022) with the possibility that this position may be extended, depending on student need.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
