PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE - March 2026

Hello CRCS,

As we move further into the second half of the school year, there is much to celebrate at CRCS. From student growth and staff development to strategic planning and athletic success, it has been a full and encouraging season in our community.

Semester 2 is well underway for our high school students, with new courses and fresh opportunities for growth. In the elementary school, Trimester 2 is wrapping up, and report cards will be distributed later in March. It has been a joy to see the creativity, projects, and academic, social, and spiritual growth happening throughout our classrooms. Thank you to our teachers for the care and excellence they bring each day.

Congratulations to our Sr Boys Basketball Team on qualifying for Provincials in Langley. Their hard work, dedication, and character have been outstanding, and we look forward to cheering them on.

Our staff recently joined nearly 300 Christian educators at Vancouver Island Pro-D Day at Duncan Christian School. It was a valuable opportunity to learn, collaborate, and connect with other Christian schools committed to shaping the next generation for Christ.

On February 24, CRCS participated in the ACSI Day of Prayer. Students and staff spent time learning about prayer and praying for our students, staff, families, churches, local schools, and community. It was powerful to be united in prayer with Christian schools around the world.

Looking ahead, our Board and Administration recently met with the Society of Christian Schools in British Columbia (SCSBC) to prepare for strategic planning meetings in March. These conversations are helping us think intentionally about both the short and long-term future of CRCS, and we are excited about what lies ahead.

Thank you for your continued partnership as we seek to shape students who pursue Truth, Purity, and Excellence in all areas of life.

James 5:16 “...The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

Blessings,

Dennis Peeman
