 We are especially grateful for the continued support of our Parent Teacher Fellowship. The PTF recently provided two new Gaga Ball pits for our students, and they have already seen a tremendous amount of use! It has been wonderful to see students of all ages enjoying them together.

 We also want to express our sincere appreciation to outgoing PTF President Krystal Higgins. Over the past two years, Krystal has given countless hours of her time and energy to support our school community. Under her leadership, the PTF has continued to grow into a strong and valued community partner with CRCS. We are very thankful for the many ways she has served our students, staff, and families. We want to welcome Rebecca Fairhurst as the incoming President of the PTF.

This past week, our Leadership students hosted our first annual Coastal Leadership Conference as we welcomed students from Pacific Academy to CRCS. Students enjoyed a day of fellowship, worship, leadership development, and community-building together. It was encouraging to see young people from different school communities connecting, learning from one another, and being challenged to grow as Christian leaders.

 Our first all-school chapel of the year also provided an important opportunity to recognize Truth and Reconciliation. A special thank you to the Naknakim family for sharing through song, worship, and a meaningful message. We are grateful for opportunities such as these to listen, learn, build relationships, and encourage our students to approach others with humility, respect, and Christ-like love.

 As Thanksgiving approaches, I am reminded of how much we have to be grateful for as a school community. We are thankful for our students, families, staff, volunteers, and the many people who faithfully support the work of CRCS. As we enter this season, may we take time to recognize God's faithfulness and the many blessings He has placed before us.

 A reminder that Friday, October 23 is a Professional Development Day and there will be no classes for students. Our teachers and Educational Assistants will be spending the day learning alongside other educators from across British Columbia. These opportunities for professional learning help our staff continue to grow in their practice and bring new ideas, strategies, and encouragement back to our classrooms.

 Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we work together to help our students grow academically, relationally, and spiritually. We look forward to all that the fall season will bring.
